Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort is situated in Belek, 30 km to the east of the Antalya province on the Mediterranean coast. Belek is a stunning holiday destination and a paradise for national and international golf fans. It has a coastline of 17 kilometers.
The Spa Resort's construction began in January 2013 and will be ready to open its doors, for guests, in the spring of 2014. It will incorporate the existing Carya golf club, which opened 5 years ago, into its design. The course and club are of the highest standards; normally equated with the very best of traditional British clubs. Designed by Thomson Perrett & Lobb Golf Course Architects which was established by Peter Thomson, the five times British Open champion, it is officially recognised as an International Quality Championship Golf Course able to host International Tournaments also The Carya Golf Club counted in the best 100 golf clubs of the Europe. The spa and course cover a combined area of 1 million square metres.
When finished, the resort will have 533 rooms with 1200 beds. Standard room dimensions will be between 55-60 m2 boasting one of the highest standards in the region. All of the rooms are designed to have a sea view. Apart from this there are 40 golf houses of 45 square metres and 4 golf villas of 100 square metres. Total investment is 235 million dollars; 185 million dollars for construction, plus an extra 50 million dollars set aside for the actual golf course.
The Project has a 1000-capacity ballroom as well as 16 convention rooms. It also has 7-10 à la carte restaurants, each with an individual design concept which will present not only the best of Turkish cuisine but that from around the world as well. 4 soccer fields built to FIFA standards will be able to host soccer teams and their stars from all over the world.
The spa will be established on an area of 4500-5000 square metres and will use only natural products in order to offer a peaceful, harmonious and healthy environment to its guests. By using these materials and promoting a completely green policy, wherever possible, it has been nominated to receive LEEDS Certification (Leadership In Energy and Environment Design) and will in fact be the only one to have this coveted title in the region.
